I suppose there's a bit of a plothole here. How long has Bob been in this time period? It seems like he showed up, made his plans with Dr. Wily, and then immediately kidnapped Dr. Light, setting everything into motion. But Dr. Wily says he had Star Man's level remodeled just the other day. Why would he have done that before Bob showed up?

While Dr. Wily might routinely have his Robot Master level's redecorated for no reason, or he was planning something. Or maybe Bob's been in the past longer than we might think, and it's taken several days to plan all of this.
