I'm not really sure what I had in mind for this storyline. Was it supposed to be a behind-the-scenes sort of thing or a recap of the whole comic? In the end, I think it became both. The second and third panels are basically a recap of Bob's first attack, and the last panel could be something of a spoiler. After Bob, first the comic was attacked by Mynd, then Mega Man (who was actually Helmut in disguise), then by Helmut properly, and then by Non-Alternate Mynd. The ordering in this panel would suggest that eventually Bob would attack again, which he did. I suppose you could argue that this line-up is missing X, but you could also argue that X wasn't a traditional villain, especially since he broke the cycle of game-parody:annual-villain.
