The First Annual Robot Tournament | A Bob Named Sue |
|

While it's not necessarily a bad idea, it is awfully convoluted. If Mr. X was a real person, Dr. Wily would have had to kill and/or remove him without anyone noticing, then somehow replace him, doing such a good job that no one notices the difference. I mean, regardless of how eccentric you might be, there would still be people that know the real Mr. X well enough to notice that something's off, right? And if Mr. X wasn't a real person, then it's even worse, because then an infamous criminal has to somehow create an eccentric billionaire out of thin air and convince the world that Mr. X is a real person and has the resources to host a robot tournament. Either way, you'd think it would be simpler to just figure out who the most powerful robots are on your own and steal them. |
