This punchline one of my all-time favorites. If you've read the "lost" comics, you'd know that Mynd ended up finding a link to the Evil Overlord's List, a list of things evil overlord's should do and never do. It was my intention to have Mynd follow those rules to the letter, allowing him to successfully kill everyone. And in the spirit of the Evil Overlord's List, Mynd isn't above taking advantage of Proto Man's distraction when he turns to call for help. The objective is to kill Proto Man, and any edge he can get is worth taking. After all, if everyone's dead, who's going to know or care whether or not you behaved honorably? By the way, Mynd's line is a perfect example of the "I Lied" trope, as seen at TV Tropes. In fact, there's a whole list of tropes the comic (unknowingly) followed.
