This basic punchline was stolen from Scott Kurtz's comic Player vs Player. In the specific comic this was inspired by, Cole says something about his computer, which Francis finds so terribly funny because it's never going to happen, and the fact that Cole is serious is what Francis finds so funny about it. In the same regard, what Roll finds so funny about the situation is that Mike is actually serious about something as ridiculous as the idea of him killing her. Because we all know that Roll would wipe the floor with Mike if it came down to it.
