I think every story with an intangible character is required to have at least one scene where another character runs though the intangible one, though this is more often used to reveal that the intangible character is indeed intangible. This comic is helpful in dating when in the "Attack of Mega Man" storyline George has found himself. Here Bass says he's off to poison the ice cream, so he's probably just stashed Roll behind the random console, but he hasn't tried to take down Nate yet.
