As these events take place after Mega Man turned evil, they would also have to take place after soon-to-be-evil Mega Man threw Mini-Rick at the Evil Killer Bugs. Presumably Mini-Rick's been airborne for quite some time. Either he busted through the ceiling or Dr. Light's lab has very, very high ceilings.
