Yes, that's the same jar that the soon-to-be-evil Mega Man stuck the Mini-Author in just before he shot Proto Man in the back. At the time, it was merely a distraction, but like so many things in the comic, I realized I could use it for something more convoluted later, and did. The Helmut plushie had been on the front page for a while, so I thought I'd mix it up with some sort of ghostly apparition emanating from it. Again, the point was more to remind readers of Helmut as a clue to where the storyline was going.
