Napalm Man's complaint is a reference to Clerks, as well as a reference to the fact that the original Napalm Man from the Fifth Megaman Game storyline actually ended up in a different time period thanks to Alternate Mega Man and Alternate Bass, hence his mutterings about being a future alternate.
