Tales From a Parallel Universe 3 | Bob's Decision |

You know Mynd has to be a big sci-fi nerd, if for no other reason than he carries around a light-sabre. And since he's a big bald sci-fi nerd, you know someone is going to eventually end up comparing him to Captain Picard. Or maybe Professor X. Or I could kill two birds with one stone and just go with Patrick Stewart. In the case of this comic, though, I'm not sure what's supposed to be upsetting Mynd more: being called a Captain Picard reject or Bob insulting Captain Picard. I'm not sure if what Bob says here about working alone is true. After all, we've seen very little of his life prior to his appearance in the comic, so it's possible that at some point in the past, he used to work with a team. Of course, if he did, it was probably a team of villains, like the Sinister Six, but then one of them probably screwed up his master plan and he swore off ever working in a team again. Though, it's probably more likely that Bob said that because he just doesn't want to work with Mynd. |
