How's that line go? "He who lives by the sword gets killed by the guy with the gun." Seriously, who brings a sword to a gun fight? Guns, blasters, cannons, or any long-range projectile weapon capable of piercing armor is extremely deadly to someone only armed with a sword, especially in single combat like this. I wonder why I didn't do a Mace Windu joke here... probably because this was before Episode II, when we finally got to see Mace Windu kick some ass.
