Something Stupid | Proto Man, Understanding Character |
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
As I've mentioned before, when the comic entered "Version 2.0", the background color gained some consistentancy within storylines. Here we see that Proto Man has traveled far enough that the background has changed color without changing the storyline, supposedly as an indication of how far he's traveled. Granted, we might just be talking about moving from one room to another, but considering how much of the comic is really just people standing around talking, this kind of movement is significant. I don't really know what Proto Man was talking about in the last panel when he says that I was busy around this time. I had finished my bachelor's degree and this was the summer before I started grad school. I had just moved into my first apartment, so that could be it. I might also have been working on the first Cataclysm movie, but I'm not sure on the timing of that. |
