There were a number of unanswered questions in this storyline, and I knew the readers were getting a bit impatient for answers. I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to divulge some of my clever ideas to the audience. Of course, most of the things Mega Man mentions in that middle panel weren't actually explained, but they can probably be chalked up to intelligent Mega Man making uses of pre-existing abilities, much like his conversion of Magnet Man's weapon to an EMP in the previous storyline.
