As the storyline progressed, I noticed that the Alternates became progressively more like their non-Alternate counterparts. Chalk it up to bad writing or maybe the universe is corrupting them, much like how the Rockman Universe got corrupted by Bob or the Author's presence. But keep in mind that Alternate Mega Man's last line doesn't necessarily mean his core personality has changed. He might be talking about how if he has to be the hero, he should be acting like the hero, and in this case, the hero is an idiot. Also, you have to admit that Crystal Man's line does have a weird sort of logic to it.
