A running gag that I stole from Macc Maverick's site, and used earlier in the comic when Bob as fighting Mega Man, is that no one ever dies on camera. Anytime someone is blasted, like Dark Macc, they've always "just been blown clear" Of course, if Dark Macc wasn't instantly vaporized on the spot, which means he's probably off smoldering somewhere, then it pretty much destroys that explanation of why Macc wasn't affected by the blast. And you know, I don't think either of us ever bothered coming up with a different explanation.
You know, given how large Ultros is compared to both Bob and Macc, something I based partly on how large he is compared to the characters from Final Fantasy VI, you'd think he wouldn't be such a little bitch.
Actually, now that I think about it, scale is another thing you can't really get from the regular FARTS episodes. Each line of dialogue has the image of the character preceding it, but you never see then together, so you have no sense of how large any of the characters are relative to one another. I have no idea how large Macc imagines Ultros to be, or any of the other Final Fantasy characters/monsters he has running around his studio for that matter.
