A Bad Time | The Author's Missing |
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Up until this point in the comic, what Mega Man says here was more or less true. When the characters started ragging on the Author about the comic, the Author would tend to yell at them from above the comic. In this case, I had wondered what would have happened the rest of the world had the events of Megaman 2 turned out differently; specifically, what it would mean for the Author. That thinking led to much of the dialogue in the following comics. I should mention that one of the best parts about these kinds of jokes, which rely on previous knowledge, is only possible in a storyline-based comic, since otherwise the readers wouldn't recognize that anything was wrong. And look, another variation of the "This is bad, isn't it?" jokes. |
