The Second Megaman Game | Techno-Babble |
|

Technobabble is, according to Wikipedia, a form of prose using jargon, buzzwords, and highly esoteric language to give an impression of plausibility through mystification, misdirection, and obfuscation. It's a staple of Star Trek and it's awesome. In fact, I've heard that in the scripts for the later series of Star Trek, the writers would leave [TECH] wherever they needed the science advisors to fill in technobabble later. Which means whenever you see Geordi talking about how they need to use an inverse tachyon beam to scan the anti-time rift, most of that was made up by technical advisors after the rest of the story was written. I wonder if the compromsing of Mega Man's ethical programming is what allowed Vic to turn him evil so easily later in the comic. |
