Even though the strategy guides said Mega Man should fight Gemini Man before Needle Man, I wanted to do them in the reverse order instead, probably because I had a neat idea for Needle Man that I wanted to do first. And since I knew some of the readers would point out my "error" if I didn't mention it ahead of time, I had to use a whole comic just to explain it. Sometimes having fans that pay attention is a real pain in the ass.
And then I had to throw in something resembling a joke, so I killed a Met with the strategy guide. Tough strategy guide, I guess.
During this time period, I would occasionally walk to work, a 4 mile trip, which would give me lots of time to think. One day, I started thinking about this poem. I thought it was clever enough to bother posting as a quip. Though, looking at it now, it's really not very good. It's clever enough, I suppose, but it doesn't flow very well.
