The handful of readers of the time had very little idea what the hell was going on with the comic. All they knew was that I had been touting the hand-drawn comic for weeks, and then almost as soon as it started, it was over. You can imagine their confusion. I attempted to expain what was going on in the blurb, but I knew that wouldn't necessarily help any future readers, so I thought I should say something about it in a comic. Not that the comic contains much information about why the hand-drawn comic ended, only that I was now apparently working on "new stuff". I imagine many of the readers at the time didn't really care about the hand-drawn stuff in the first place and would have preferred I stuck with the sprites anyway.
