The Attack of the Yellow Demon | Mega Man to the Rescue |
|

Just once, I would like to see a scene like this. The hero is informed of a dangerous situation, and when he announces his intentions to head off and confront the danger, rather than have his compatriots try to stop him, telling him how dangerous it is and how foolish he must be for rushing off, they're all for it, going so far as to give the hero advice on how to reach the dangerous area and probably be killed. That would be some good TV and worth watching. Actually, now that I think about, I may have seen this scene somewhere. Probably something by Joss Whedon. He seems like the sort to pull this twist on an old cliche. And, for those of you keeping score at home, I used basically this same joke later in the Second Megaman Game with a jetpack. |
