I don't know about you, but I can only take so much bitching and self-pity before I feel the urge to tell the complainer to just shut the hell up. Yeah, yeah, your life sucks, but you know it could always be worse. So suck it up, quit your bitching, and do something about it already! That being said, clinical depression is a real thing, caused by a chemical imbalance. It requires medical attention and isn't something that you treat by just telling a sufferer to "suck it up".
