While Proto Man is cool and all, when faced with painful death, he has no reservations about calling for help. Personally, I think that makes him even cooler, since it suggests the coolness isn't just some stupid macho thing. Though, you'd think he'd at least pull his arms and legs into a smaller area, but that's one of the limitations of sprites.
