My plan, at this point, was to interrupt the next storyline somewhere near the middle to start Non-Alternate Mynd's attack, but I got so wrapped up in the game storyline that I completely forgot until it was all over. The only thing I could do was start the attack storyline "in media res" and then do a flashback to try to get the timing right. Also, Proto Man totally knew he was there.
