This comic would indicate that the far future alternates never came here to try to talk the future alternates into going after Bob. They were really here just to muck with the time machine, knowing that it was the only way to get the future alternates to go to the right time and place to stop Bob. After all, they had already done that, so they knew exactly where and when the future alternates would have to go. That's definitely one of the benefits of time traveling like that. Once you know what you've done because you forced yourself to do it, you know what you have to force yourself to do.
