I imagine helmet hair is similar to hat hair, except that it can cause weird things to happen based on the shape of your helmet. Hell, I have to wonder how long it's been since Future Alternate Bass took off his helmet. He might have years worth of hair growth conforming to that shape. Future Alternate Bass mentioned his helmet's heat sink capability while defending it a while back.
