If there's one thing I've learned in all of my years of programming, it's that programmers never want to program the same thing over and over. They'd much rather write a complicated program to do the repetitive work for them. It's more entertaining and once it's done, it makes all the grunt work faster and easier. I know that if I'm working on something where I have write the same bit of code over and over with minor modifications, I'll easily spend hours working on a macro or something to do it faster and easier, even if it ends up taking longer to write the macro than it would to have just done it the simple way over and over. I can only assume Dr. Wily is the same way, and by this point, he'd have written a program to just make the Robot Masters for him. After all, how different are they, really? |
