I was a little concerned about the readers' possible reactions to my decision to start a time-travel storyline almost immediately after ending an alternate dimension storyline. While both of them are classic science fiction plots, I was worried it might be a bit too much for the readers. Looking back, of course, I can't understand why I was so worried. After all the crap that's happened in this comic, this storyline change is nothing. Besides, that last storyline didn't even last two weeks. I'd hardly even call it a storyline. No, by the standards of the comic's last several years, that was more of a non-sequitur. Besides which, I knew this storyline was going to lead into the next game parody, and the fans always loved those, so even if it did require a little bit of time travel to get to it, there really wasn't any reason to worry.
