The Introduction of George | Mega Man's Guess |
|

When these comics were new, I couldn't decide what to do with the storyline title. I mean, this storyline was about the introduction of George, but what if the readers hadn't realized who this character was yet? Should I wait until it was revealed in the comic itself, or should I just go ahead and put it in the comic's title? Would that ruin the surprise for any readers that hadn't already realized it? I believe I simply ended up holding off on changing the title for a few days, after which it was painfully obvious who the character was, and I was able to retroactively change the storyline title to its correct designation. Actually, I've done this several times throughout the run of the comic, usually when I don't want to reveal something about what's coming up, even though it's a major enough revelation that the entire storyline will focus on it. Also, technically this storyline shares the same title as one during the first run of the hand-drawn comics. But as far as I'm concerned, this is the real introduction of George, so the name is more apt here. Poor Mega Man. He had a 50-50 shot of getting the name right. |
