As mentioned earlier, this comic was included in the animated special for the anniversary week. Actually, that comic leaves out a couple of comics in between the action sequences, but no one noticed.
Additionally, it was mentioned earlier that both Bob's blaster and his plastic-wrap shielding (first seen here) were gifts from Bob's mother to help both him and George survive better in this universe. Though, now that I think about it, I'm not sure when she could have given the items to the two of them, given that they went straight from the middle of a battle to the portal to the Megaman Universe. I suppose she could have given them their gifts while they were being transported between dimensions. In fact, her interference would probably explain how they got their imposter costumes as well.
In case you were wondering, the reason I call it "plastic-wrap shielding" is because that's the Photoshop filter I used to create that effect.
The phrase "Suck it, dolphin!" was a favorite of one of my fellow physics students in college. Don't get me wrong, he was a real dickhead, but when I needed something for Proto Man to say, it was the first thing that popped into my head and seemed to work perfectly.
