I figured if I was going to introduce a new character, he'd need a new look. Unfortunately, since I was never that good a spriter, it would have to be another Megaman recolor. Of course, at the time, no one knew any better, so I could get away with it. Seeing as how the character would be getting a new color scheme, it made sense for him to discard the Author costume he was wearing, which I made by just cutting apart an Author sprite. Additionally, I think Mega Man chasing a naked guy is funny. This joke would later be referenced when Mega Man was fighting Flash Man.
