Just Another Day | A Wasted Strip |

This is one of the few comics I actually regret making. I didn't really have a goal I was working toward when I made it, and I was having a bit of writer's block, so I thought I'd do a short recap followed by the characters joking that they've wasted a comic. I guess as a short fourth-wall breaking joke, isn't really that bad. The problem is that this is one of the most copied and overused jokes fancomic authors copy and overuse in the comics submit to the fancomics site. You'd be surprised at the percentage of fancomic submissions that have at least one "wasted comic" joke in them. The only concepts more copied and overused are the using the first comic(s) as an introduction of the characters, and the idea of an author character, especially one that interacts directly and regularly with the rest of the characters. |
