Mega Man freaking out and running around like an idiot is something that pretty much happens every day. But people impersonating the Author isn't something that happens every day, so I felt a change of storyline was warranted. And with the change in storyline, a change in the background for no other reason than to accentuate the change. Like with the previous storyline, I didn't really have anything planned out for this storyline. I may have had an inkling that it would lead to the introduction of the title characters, or I may have had no idea who the imposter was. But the whole idea seemed interesting and entertaining, so I ran with it and let the story pretty much write itself for a while.
