I could've just had them return directly to the present and wrap up this whole storyline, but after thinking about circular time loops, I had a rather devious idea. But rather than just doing it with a one-shot comic, I wanted to play out my deviousness and start by seeing if any of the readers would be able to guess where the crew had landed themselves, based solely on the background color. By the way, X's line from the second panel is an allusion to Marty's line in Back to the Future II after they return to (alternate) 1985 after changing the future.
