The last time I had used the "behind-your-back" joke, I swore in my blurb that it would be the last time. At the time, I was being honest, as I had no intention of ever using again, after having driven it straight into the ground (see previous commentary). But then, as I was working on this storyline, I saw a new opportunity, something fairly original, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Besides, it had been long enough since I'd last used it, the readers probably saw it as a pleasant and comfortable surprise.
