The idea that Prometheus locking himself in the bathroom was the continuation of a running gag where characters lock themselves in the bathroom when they don't want to face what's going on. Mega Man did the same thing not too long ago when he decided to temporarily quit the comic again and Dr. Light does it again later when hiding from the Helmeted Author disguised as Mega Man.
