The statements in this comic are only half-true. Bob is definitely not directly responsible for the Cataclysm that Proto Man's talking about. That was Zero. However, since Bob programmed Zero, including the part that probably drove him insane, you could argue that he's somewhat responsible, even if only indirectly. And he is directly responsible for a different Cataclysm.
